crushes every thing any other Dubstep DJ has ever done! His scratches, on top of his song selection is MASSIVE! I dare anyone to even come close to this mix! The only person I could even see coming close to this skill level would be DJ Craze. Commonly most DJ's only mix, they don't know how to come correct with scratching, juggling, busting transforms, along with hundreds of other Turntablist tricks as Mix Master Mike does.

DEADMAU5 x DUBSTEP

We have been a fan of Deadmau5 for YEARS and following him on facebook for quite some time now. Recently over the past 2-3 days he's posted some goodies on facebook for us. It looks like Mr. Deadmau5 is going all Dubstep on us AND IT SOUNDS AMAZING! I'm not to sure if this is some sick joke, is it really Joel Zimmerman Was his FB hacked and is some pulling a fast one on us?! Is it to good to be true? We hope not! Deadmau5 has always been cutting edge and always comes correct on the production level. If this new Dubstep project is true then this just shows how diverse Joel is. If this is all a big hoax, that means we just wasted your time and 5 min of your life you will never get back. I guess if it was all a sham it couldnt be worse then all those fake Daft Punk Tron Legacy tracks floating around, or like that fake ass Justice track (Begining of the End) that gave me a heart attack. Will these songs go up on the Wall of Shame with the rest of the counterfeits or are we all in for an incredible Deadmau5 Dubstep Journey!

     Mykies McFilthy - this kid eats bassbins for breakfast and dynamite for dinner. Exploding onto the scene, this young man has been producing bass heavy tracks with an edgy deep psychedelic influence for the last few years. Known for being the Romancer of the Rhythms, and the Seducer of the Sounds, he is mostly known for his nasty, grimey bass and his massive heavy beats. This young up and coming artist is crushing dancefloors with his own original dubstep tunes along the whole left coast giving a high energy performance every time.

I was like what the fuck...

South African rap? Progeria? Those are a few of my favorite things! I didn't have to search much because that shit was ALL over the Internet. Upon first glance my brain screamed then whispered to my eyes "Ok. These people are straight out of a Harmony Korine movie. Where am I? Look at those high-cut blonde bangs?! There's the progi. Oh shit, this actually sounds good! I feel weird. I think I'm falling in love."

Their music is well-produced, their website is fancy as hell, and their videos look clean so the jumpoff to their immediate popularity obviously wasn't some kind of random Youtube fame. We've got some marketing geniuses and strong backers up in here. Quick Googlin' revealed them to have trickled into the scene slowly..until some powerball pulled the trigger and unleashed them onto the masses this week.

I love Yo-landi Vi$$er. The only other South African female that came close to mesmerizing me this much was a young Charlize Theron. When I heard Yo-landi singing on "Enter The Ninja," her sweet high-pitched chorus automatically made me think of Aqua! And I am quite alright with those two dollar signs in her name (unlike Ke$ha).
More Googlin' shows that the two leads, Yo-Landi and Ninja are actually married and have been around the South Africa scene for a long time under various alternate band monikers. Ninja is also known as "Da Ali G of South Africa" according to a source from Videogum, but you can't deny they have something special, even if it's not "real".

What can we expect from this crew? I personally am fantasizing about collabs with Diplo and Major Lazer along with an Eric Wareheim video, a catfight between Lady Gaga and Yo-landi and all of them hanging out at my favorite LA taco truck with me at 3am. Satirical, scary, fake. Whatever opinion you might have of them, they are now here with catchy tracks, legit talent and have everybody's attention. Let's get some remixes done for them and take them to the "next level!"
